5 Day Summer Film Schools 2008

Acting, Directing, Storyboarding, Location Managing, Camera Operating, Wrap Parties and much more!

Our young crews (7 to 16yrs) spend 5 days making their own mini feature films. We then screen all the films at a local cinema in the autumn at one of our special Filmsteps Premieres - truly glittering red carpet affairs to which our crews can invite friends and family!

One of the most rewarding aspects of filmmaking is the unusual and exciting locations and this year by special arrangement with the National Trust our Summer Film Schools weres held at Sutton House - a fabulous Tudor property built in 1535, complete with oak panelled rooms and original fireplaces. Our crews were treading in the footsteps of Henry VIII's courtiers, merchants and Victorian schoolmistresses!

After the success of our Summer Schools 2007 and 2008, we already have some exiting plans for Summer 2009. Information on next year's summer schools will be released early in 2009.
