Calling all would-be filmmakers!
Filmsteps Teddington is run by Caroline Jeffries. Caroline started life as an actress before joining the BBC, working in television production for over 20 years. Her long list of television credits include working as a TV Director on Eastenders, Byker Grove and The Bill. She also has extensive experience in teaching courses such as Screen Performance, Improvisation and History of Cinema. Caroline taught on some of the very first Filmsteps courses and is now thrilled to be running Filmsteps Teddington and seeing a new generation of filmmakers emerge.
Filmsteps Teddington runs a Term Time School which meets every Saturday between 10.30am and 12.30 pm at Waldegrave School, Fifth Cross Road, Twickenham TW2 5LH.
We are almost at the end of our second fantastic year and we have seen many students taking part in our Animation Courses, Christmas event days, Summer Schools and one -off workshops, as well as making their own documentaries, News Reports, mini soap operas and much more.
During the Spring term all our Term Time crews took part in the Filmsteps Challenge, making their own Charity Telethons. Everyone loved the project and Filmsteps Teddington raised money for Rianna's Fund and The Mayhew Animal Home. Our telethons can now be viewed on FilmstepsTV.
