FILMSTEPS POOLE runs term time and holiday workshops for children aged 7-16yrs and is bursting with ideas to share with budding filmmakers.

Head teacher, Annie East, says "I have worked in television for the last 15 years making programmes like East Enders and Holby City and I have loved every minute of it. We are welcoming local Dorset youngsters as well as children visiting the area as part of their holidays!”

TERM TIME SCHOOL:

For 2 hours each Saturday morning during term time at our venue in BH14, student "crews" meet and have the opportunity to make anything from pop videos, to adverts to news programmes and much more. HALF TERM SPOOKY MOVIE WORKSHOP

Get out of the house this October Half Term and take on the Spooky Movie Filmsteps Challenge. Learn all about the power of suggestion & and things that go bump in the night! You get to make a truly spine tingling movie that will include simple special effects and disappearing shots.  AND THAT'S NOT ALL, we will also be joined by Film Special Effects Make-Up Artist Farida who will show you all the tricks of the trade! We'll upload all movies to our ONLINE TV STATION Filmstepstv AND you get to take home a DVD too!
